It would need to be something that goes inline between a power outlet and a regular 110 volt plug. The BIOS is set to "Last power state", so unplugging and plugging it back in will cause it to successfully boot all the way back up again. I intend to rebuild it with better hardware and perform a clean install of the operating system and the Milestone XProtect software that's running on it. This thing is trying to process 50+ camera feeds yet has the same specs as a mediocre desktop PC. ![]() It's only running Windows 10 Professional (I guess maybe that's okay) but with 8 GB of RAM and a barely adequate CPU. The "server" itself is woefully inadequate. I work at an organization that has a computer which crashes at least twice a month, causing the camera system to stop recording until I'm on site and able to perform a cold reboot. ![]()
